The 27th Annual Review Meeting of the health sector, convened by the Ministry of Health, Ethiopia (MoH) under the theme “Driving Health Gains Through Sustainable Investments and Innovations” from October 22nd – October 24th 2025, offered a high-level platform for Ethiopia’s health community to reflect, project and collaborate.
ACSIS stood as a proud partner alongside MoH, regional health bureaus and local stakeholders contributing through analytics, systems thinking and frontline learning. Within the ARM sessions, ACSIS highlighted its role in mobilizing resources, strengthening primary care operative obstetric services and embedding preventive screening and digital diagnostics into the system. By bringing evidence and implementation to the table, ACSIS helped shape joint sector commitments to investment, innovation and sustainability reinforcing that transforming health outcomes depends equally on technical excellence, workforce readiness and purposeful partnership. ACSIS had the honor of chairing a high-level panel discussion on Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) and the broader Patient Safety agenda, bringing together national and regional experts to explore strategies for safer, more accountable care. The session emphasized the urgent need for integrated stewardship, surveillance, and system-wide learning to protect patients and preserve the effectiveness of life-saving treatments.
